Where Entitlement had revulsion and rage, Dissociate has detachment and curiosity. The first half of Dissociate is comprised of the exploration song "Orbit of Europa," written for a Mod Shrine OHC some time before Entitlement came out, and the "Galaxia" suite, 3 songs inspired by top scrolling video games, Lovecraftian horror, and the Amiga SoundTracker sample disks.

"Subdivided" began as an experiment in writing in 11/8 time signature, and quickly developed into the bare bones track I present here. Initially intended to feature a vocal, I have instead opted to share an unfinished "Karaoke" version for everyone to use and write their own lyrics and melodies for.

"Cold" is a reimagining of one of my earliest Jeskola Buzz compositions from 2002. A much welcome improvement on the melancholia of the original's melodic lines, this version of the song features an alteration of the primary arpeggiation combined with a slower overall tempo. The result is an earnest introspection, while the oddly perky lead displays the kind of duality that once exists with when compartmentalizing parts of one's persona in order to survive the day-to-day.
